Dr. Sushil Kumar Yadav

Dr. Yadav’s educational journey includes a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, followed by a Master of Doctorate in Anaesthesia from M P Shah Medical College, Jamnagar, Gujarat. He has pursued further specialization through various fellowships, including the Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM) and the Indian Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (IFCCM) from Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi. He completed his Fellowship in National Board (FNB) in Critical Care Medicine at Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune, and has earned additional qualifications in critical care ultrasound, ECMO, echocardiography, and mechanical ventilation.

Certified by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Dr. Yadav has also completed courses in infectious diseases, transthoracic echocardiography, and comprehensive ECMO specialist training. He has contributed chapters to textbooks and has extensive experience in critical care settings, having worked across various ICUs including Medical, Gastro, Cardiac, and Transplant units.

Throughout his career, Dr. Yadav has held progressive roles, serving as a Senior Registrar in critical care at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi, and later as a Consultant Intensivist at Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune. He has also served as an Intensivist and In-Charge of Liver & Gastro Medical ICU at Rela Institute @ Ruby Hall Clinic and Jupiter Hospital Baner, Pune. Currently, he holds the position of Consultant Intensivist & In-Charge of Liver & Gastro Medical ICU and Liver Transplant ICU at Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune.

Dr. Yadav is an active member of several medical societies, including the Indian Society of Anaesthesia (ISA), Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM), Society of Neurocritical Care India (SNCC), and ECMO Society of India (ESOI), among others. He continues to contribute to the advancement of critical care medicine and remains dedicated to delivering excellence in patient care.
